New Year purchases to kick start 2017!
I can’t quite believe Christmas has been and gone and the new season stock is starting to filter into the shops already. I also can’t believe that I have been on a mini spending spree in the first two weeks of January! However, I have managed to bag myself a few bargains from coveting the items I’ve had my eye on by stalking the sale pages!
The only problem with doing all of the above, is that you come in to contact with the new pieces and as I always tell my clients ‘If you see it and love it, then you must buy it’. This seems to have happened but only on two of the purchases below!
So, I’d like to share with you my new items that will be worn in many different ways throughout the year (depending on the weather).
Sale items;
Over the knee boots – Clarks now £100
Black & white striped jumper – White Company now £55

New Season pieces;
Metallic courts – Dune £80
Navy/red slogan jumper – Oasis £39
I am trying to start getting the wear out of these items as soon as possible and have been doing a few ‘In the wardrobe shots’ recently, posting them onto my Instagram/FB page. So although the photography skills are diabolical, you kind of get the gist of how I’ve styled these few pieces.
You can also see the difference in my appearance when I bother to put lipstick on (left) and when I don’t (far right). I look washed out without and what only takes a few seconds to do makes a huge difference – slap on the wrist for me!!
